The Wellstone Center in the Redwoods, a nationally recognized writers’ retreat center in Northern California, is offering two Joe Plumeri Fellowships in 2016 in memory of Joe’s son Christian Plumeri, awarded to writers pursuing a book project at the intersection of food and health, either a work of fiction or creative nonfiction. The intersection of food and health has become a trendy topic, but so much new information and perspective come forth every week, there is a strong need for writers who can offer an informed perspective, based both on their own experiences and on knowledge of nutrition, science, health and fitness. The work of fellows will help spread awareness in this critical area.

Like he said, anything is possible."
